Youth Training Programs
We work with young thinkers to heighten their expression through photography and visual storytelling.
Overview
The Brickhouse Company offers structured youth training programs in photography, video, and creative production. Each program is planned in advance, built around hands-on learning, and designed to help students understand how images, scenes, and stories are made with intention.
Program Format
Programs can be delivered as single workshops or multi-session experiences. They are designed for groups and booked by session, not by individual enrollment.
Sessions can be held in a studio or on site at a location arranged with the organization. Planning, support staff, and equipment are scaled to fit the size of the group and the goals of the program.
What Students Gain
Students learn the basics of photography, film, visual storytelling, camera use, lighting, and composition through guided practice. Each session is designed to move students from instruction into making, so they leave with a clearer understanding of the creative process and completed work from the program.
Offerings:
Three ways into image-making, story, and production.
An introduction to filmmaking and narrative. Students learn the basics of video, framing, sequencing, story structure, and planning through a group-based shooting exercise.
