The Brickhouse Company is a design practice working to educate. We organize complexity by giving form to expression. Whether through film, photography, education, or identity, the goal is the same. To help people leave with greater clarity.

We begin by studying what already exists. We identify what matters, clarify what needs to be understood, and shape the work into something easier to follow.

Sometimes that means structuring information. Sometimes it means shaping a film, building an identity, or designing a system that can support the work over time. The form may change, but the work remains the same.

Founder

Steven Brickhouse is a Bronx filmmaker, designer, and educator with more than 15 years across the moving image. He holds an MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he teaches graduate-level editing. Born, raised, and based in The Bronx, he leads The Brickhouse Company with a focus on structure, education, and expression. Leaving the mark.
